Depuis le 1er janvier 2014, les cartes nationales d'identité sont valables 15 ans pour les personnes majeures.
Les cartes délivrées entre le 2 janvier 2004 et le 31 décembre 2013 sont automatiquement valides 15 ans sans démarche à accomplir.
